Enforcer is one of many bands borrowing heavily from the heyday of speed/thrash metal. On Into The Night, their 2008 debut, the style is a mix of mid-eighties speed metal, a bit of Kill 'Em All-era Metallica, and a healthy dose of early Iron Maiden ("Black Angel" is the best example of the latter), plenty of harmonized leads, clear higher-pitched vocals, and general thrashing about, bolstered by a clear, modern production that still allows the songs to breathe. Although they tend to stick to their influences just a bit too much, there's some potential here, as the band is energetic, tight, and clearly loving what they do.
